Dog Training Schools
In order to find dog training schools to help you reach your goals here are some guidelines you should use:
Be careful of the learning style you choose. There are many dog training schools that are actually just correspondence courses. These courses send you out reading and video material to study. While studying material is not wrong, the truth is that it takes hundreds of hours of hands on training in order to learn to be a dog trainer.
Determine what training you want to offer when you have your own dog training business. There are some dog training schools that offer only obedience training while other schools will give you instruction in police work, narcotics work, Schutzhund training, service dog training, tracking, agility, and more. If you want to have an all inclusive dog training business then you need to also find all inclusive dog training schools.
Check the geography of the school you wish to attend. There are few dog training schools across the country. You may be able to find one near your home or you may have to travel.
Make sure to check references. Every year there are more and more dog training schools yet only a few of them are worth your time or effort. Make sure to check what the recent graduates have done, the success they have had in the dog training industry, and whether or not they were satisfied with their experience.
Do your research and you will have a great experience learning the skill of dog training.

The dogs are all from animal shelters and rescues. We take them into our program at around 7months to 2 years of age. They are all dogs there were either strays in the community of dogs that someone never took the time to train- so they ended up back at the shelter. Any dog can learn new skills!

It is possible to do it full time, however it does cost a great deal of money, time and dedication. There is many ways to raise cash, or so I'm told, but there is also grants the disabled can apply for, so long as you are and approved member of their program.
You not only have to pay vet bills, food, grooming but you have to have the enormous amount of time to train the dog or many dogs. there is a popular demand for Service Dogs, and just not enough Service Dog places.
One good way to do it is through puppy raisers, however you have to compensate them for their time, another way is to place the Service Dog to be with their partner at 6 months old. Still handicap people can't afford the care, but may pay it provided that the dog will be theirs when the training is finished. This provides one problem though, if the grant doesn't go through.

Hey guys I’ve just had a chat with Norwich University College of the Arts about the Foundation Degree Film and Video course. As Lou pointed out the deadline for applications is January 15th, but all applications are accepted and get an interview, which is good. I did ask about putting together a portfolio and what I could do. It doesn’t just have to be video material. I can bring along ideas which I have and also I suggested even a few pieces of music which I like and explain what ideas that would fit with it whilst it’s playing. I’ve got a couple of video ideas already which I could put together. Interviews take place in late January and early February so I’ve got a bit of time to get something together. One more thing – I did ask if personally the woman I was speaking to thought I had a good chance of getting on the course, and she said that although it’s hard to judge without seeing any work, by the way I put forward my ideas and explained them, she though I had a very good chance….
