How A Dog Obedience School Changed My Life
When you join a dog obedience school you learn how to train your dog to behave appropriately. In the first stages of training puppies, it is very common that their owners take them to a dog obedience school.
The training is usually done in small groups, where in addition to train the dog itself, it also teaches the dog's owner how to train, scold and praise the dog.
Actually, a professional dog trainer does not really train the dog; he is training the dog's owner how to do the training. You can, though, send you dog away to a dog training school alone. But you as the owner must still learn skills to reinforce what the dog has learnt on the dog school. If you attend a class together with your dog, you and your dog have a much better chance of learning more about each other as a team under professional guidance.
Every person who has to handle the dog should take part in the training to ensure consistent methods and commands. Or else the dog can get very confused.
I felt like quitting a lot of times because it was harder to change my own behavior than changing my dog's behavior. I had to learn how to praise my dog more than scolding it. I was amazed.
The strange thing is that, because I started to look at myself in a new perspective, it suddenly came very clear to me that; it was not just my relationship to my dog that needed to change. It was my attitude towards other people as well. A huge eye-opener, that was hard to swallow. And when I look back I can truly say that attending that dog obedience school really changed my life. I would not be the person I am today. And that counts both towards dogs as well as people.
If you are in doubt about whether you should attend a class with your dog or not - don't be.
Thank you for your time.

Haha, that's Greg, and yes he is. He's pretty good-natured generally, but the attitude towards patrons is always wary.
cremeglace writes “Have you ever noticed that the first cowboy to draw his gun in a Hollywood Western is invariably the one to get shot? Nobel-winning physicist Niels Bohr did, once arranging mock duels to test the validity of this cinematic curiosity. Researchers have now confirmed that people indeed move faster if they are reacting, rather than acting first.”

Ok this is hard for me to take in. I understand that if you are much more positive it will benefit you performance in your job and can turn things around for you. However, by belief (or paradigm) is that if a job isn’t right for you, you’ve got to feel the pain and work your way out of that job(if it’s dead end and not going where you want it to go!). You’ve got to get qualified in the right stuff and move on to get the right experience. Too positive and you may get too comfortable. Thoughts?
I quess so . But my attitude is always " who qives a shxt "
THEY ARE REALLY GRADE ONE A HOLE FRIENDS ! + ATTITUDE AND MOUTH PROBLEM !
give her her space in the beginning, then just slowly come nearer to her day after day until she is used to your presence and knows you aren't going to hurt her or her puppies.. eventually she should open up and let you hold them, which is very much needed when they are still young so that they can get used to humans
explain to your children (however many times is needed) exactly how close the mother dog allows you to come near. they can watch from a distance..
is getting ready for work! positive attitude!
hi my pitbull is already 5 months old… what is the most basic thing should I train her
'B A$$HOLES' also works out to 100%
There's no way to know. If you are not using the best temperament in breeding, they are not going to have the best in their puppies.
And you have to because it is one and half minutes!
John Hurt !!!!! great song and great video !!!!!
Attitude directs the behavior.
A lot of things go into a person's attitude though. Experiences, emotions, self will, desire etc.
It is the great struggle in life to be able to control our actions by first controlling our thoughts and desires. As we learn control over our thoughts and desires then the right attitude develops also. As we develop the right attitude our attitude helps us to maintain the desired behavior.
It starts with just a small desire in your heart that grows into conscious thought and develops into an action that becomes a habit and finally determines a life time behavior.
I’m not quite sure…but…Is’nt this guy responsible for putting his voice to the intros of first two “FALLOUT” games. I mean “War…War never changes…”
you would not want to be watching this vid stoned.
Be very careful about acting classes. They can be big scams. If you are 15, start looking for casting calls around your area. There should be many great opportunities if you are in the LA area. You'll probably have to start with work as an extra and/or commercial work. More important than acting classes, is getting your face out there.
You'll need to get some really great headshots (which can be rather expensive) and the more you get the smaller gigs, the more likely you stand to get picked up by an agent and then you can start to find bigger gigs.
If you're still in school, make sure you are working hard at your education. People don't want to hire the typical "stupid actor". I actually went to an acting college and then transferred to a state school because the acting conservatory wasn't teaching me anything about life and I was a 4.0 student in high school. Join your school drama club and start doing some community theater as well. It will get you out meeting people and the more you act, the more you get better at it.
Also, GO TO COLLEGE!!! It can be such a huge benefit. It's like a trial run of the acting business. You can focus on the acting, but you don't have to worry about living from paycheck to paycheck yet. Especially if you don't know much about acting now, college can be a great resource. They also have acting coaches in college.
During your summer breaks, look for seasonal theater, or more commercial/extra/acting work. Maybe you will get your big break before you finish college, but if not, you want to have that diploma to prove to people that you're not an airhead and so you can find a better job than waiting tables in between gigs. (I am a personal trainer as well and my clients keep me from living on the street or needing to apply for unemployment when I'm not acting. Courtney Cox flipped houses before her big break on Friends)
I'd also check to see if there are any improv groups/classes/troups in your area you can join. Improvisational skills are the best skills you can have. It is essential for an actor to be able to think on their feet. And meeting other actors is always good for networking. (Not to mention is tons of fun)

Lindsey is such a delight. She knows basic commands, is house broken, loves to play and cuddle. She loves kids and laying on the couch!! She is very well behaved. She can only go to a home with no other dogs or only with smaller dogs or puppies. She is unsure about bigger dogs. She only weight 30-40 pounds ans she is full grown.
